GR GUIDES OFFICE 2013

"It doesn't matter if the stories we tell are true or not, what matters is that it connects us to real things..."

10 years ago the metropolitan path of the GR2013 was inaugurated in the pouring rain, after 3 years of scouting shared between artists, hikers, sometimes postmen, trail runners or other unsuspected followers of walking in the city and in peri-urban landscapes. For a decade already, the infinite loop has been making us spin and it hasn't finished sharing its stories of inhabitants and landscapes.
2023 will be an opportunity to survey the playgrounds of the Bureau des guides and to revisit the GR2013 path in order to take an overview of these years of unprecedented experiments between gammares, rivers, wind turbines, ponds, children, rocks, chimneys, canadairs, cracks in the walls, Caprisun, shopping malls, agricultural massifs and plains…
By taking care of this piece of territory that the path draws, by seeing our shared knowledge and our common attachments grow there little by little, we hear the urgency of exercising what remains of our peasant senses (literally ""people of the country "") to return to today's world. And for that we will have to slow down... This anniversary year will therefore not be the object of a single big party, but rather of a set of invitations to gather and celebrate what the author Gary Snyders called "" sense of place".
Over the months we will therefore suggest that you come and think with your feet, live on the outside, perceive with your inside, explore our undersides and experience 10 years of truant adventures like the making of hospitable soil.
