The opening ceremonies will also take the same route, for the first time in history; communities across the host country will resonate like never before with the rhythm of the Games. Thanks to an unprecedented system, from village squares to gardens and parks throughout France, from neighborhood stadiums to schoolyards, passing through exceptional sites such as the Trocadéro, the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville in Paris or the Parc de la Villette, the cities of France and overseas will become places of celebration and sharing, an open-air playground and meeting place during the summer of 2024.
